We collaborate with artists and communities to bring exceptional arts to familiar local spaces. Each year, Applause commissions small-scale shows, specifically developed for outdoor events, and tours this work across our network in Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Essex and the wider region.
We offer these professional, exciting and unique performances to a range of promoters including small village fetes and community events (who benefit from our touring subsidy) as well as larger established events and festivals.
OUTDOORS CALLOUT 2027
Applications are NOW OPEN to be part of our outdoor season for next year. We are looking to support up to six new projects to be created for touring in 2027.

- Shortlisted applicants will be notified by 18 September 2026
- Interviews of shortlisted applications to take place between 22-30 September 2026
