THE ALLOTMENT PROJECT is a new piece of Documentary Dance Theatre by Casson & Friends, that explores allotments and the communities around them!
With interviews from allotment owners, intercut and combined with compelling movement, THE ALLOTMENT PROJECT is a unique performance that reveals our relationship to the land, the seasons and each other.
An intimate duet that is human, humorous and heartwarming, the performance celebrates the joy of growing produce, plants and relationships across all the seasons.
The performance will celebrate growth, community, and the warmer seasons, and will have a flexible & fully technically self-sufficient setup, making the work ideal for presentation in outdoor settings, rural settings and unusual locations – even on allotments!
