Creation Walk storytelling and creative workshop
Story teller Ed Boxall will be performing ‘Creation Walk’ and encouraging you to explore this Native American story with him. After the story you will be able to get your ideas flowing for creative crafts inspired by nature.
Soon after the creation of the world, the creator wants to cheer up worrying humans but is completely stuck for ideas. So, he goes on a walk and collects colours from nature. The creator collects all the colours he can find in a bag. He also puts in birdsong.
When he opens the bag, butterflies fly out- all singing together in perfect harmony because he put the birdsong in. But the birds want their songs back so they make the creator take the songs away from the butterflies. The story explains how butterflies were created and why they don’t sing.
This event is suitable for all ages and booking is required.
