Applause Community Meeting

Come and meet the team from Applause at the Kitchen Garden Stage at St Osyth Summer Sounds on Sunday 19th July 3-3.30.
Sam and Sally will be there to introduce Applause and talk about how to book a show, the many services they offer like admin, contracts and marketing and how they subsidise the costs so that shows are within your budget.
Communities are at the heart of everything we do and being far flung from a building for culture shouldn’t be a barrier to experiencing it. Our work offers the opportunity to bring people together for inspiring, shared experiences celebrating the positive impacts culture has for a community.
Following the talk there will be a performance of the wonderful 366 Days of Kindness by Bernadette Russell, brought to the festival thanks to Applause.
St Osyth Summer Sounds is a free annual Music and Food festival created with and for the people of Tendring. Taking place across the third weekend of July in the beautiful grounds of St Osyth Priory, the festival brings world-class performances, local food and shared community celebration to one of England’s most beautiful coastal districts. Over two days, the Priory comes alive with headline artists, emerging talent and grassroots musicians from across the region. The weekend is a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, food markets and creative activities for all ages. This is a free event but booking required.
