Melford House, Mayfield

Melford House is a large house with a small performing arts space which can comfortably seat 30 with side tables for drinks/ snacks or 40+ without. There is a baby grand piano and a small area which can be curtained off to frame performers. There is also a large 40 m square patio and a marquee which can be erected outside which is 11.5 x 8.5 metres – 110 square meters floor space. There is currently only 1 toilet but space to put portals outside. There is the potential for a dressing room and/ or accommodation for a performer and family.

Regular events are held at Melford House. These are primarily organised and part of The Arts Portfolio C.I.C. which organises community arts events and supports young people to access the arts and showcase their work in the Sussex area.
