Fresh Air Festival
Brightlingsea’s first FREE festival of outdoor arts! Fresh Air Festival (FAF) is a street performance festival with community at the heart of it. It’s a chance to get outdoors and enjoy some pure unfiltered silliness with your family and friends in the beautiful town of Brightlingsea.
FAF is returning to Brightlingsea on Saturday 6th September 2025!
So hold onto your stetsons and get ready for some serious horsing around!

There’ll be plenty to see and do, including a circus skills and games area (always popular) with plate spinning, stilt walking and hula hooping for starters. As usual, there’ll also be giant bubbles galore, floating throughout the festival, courtesy of Grethe Mangala Jensen. We bet you can’t catch them all!
There will also be a selection of talented local artists who will be showcasing and selling their work.
You’ll also find ice cream, tea and coffee, a bake sale and food stalls to give you plenty of energy for a day of silliness!
FAF is a family friendly friendly festival and is suitable for all ages.

The entire festival site is ground-level for easy access.
Public toilets available nearby including disabled facilities.
Parking is available on the field next to the festival site with additional parking on the road next to the festival.
