Trio Partario comprises Sussex locals Naomi Burrell (baroque violin), Gavin Kibble (viola da gamba) and, from further afield, David Gerrard (harpsichord).
Together they enjoy performing music from the baroque era (the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries) and their new programme is designed to showcase the very best music to come out of France and Italy at that time.
Featuring a diverse mixture of wonderful compositions by Corelli, Couperin, Marais and Morel, the trio will guide you through the world of the baroque, introducing their unusual instruments and showing how musical styles changed over time and across the continent. Naomi, Gavin and David are leading practitioners of baroque music and perform regularly with orchestras such as the Academy of Ancient Music, the English Concert and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
