SELENE

An intimate and communal theatrical experience which captures the magic and awe of the moon and the stories we tell about it. Made with and told by Australian film, television and theatre actor Meg Drury.

This storytelling show features one performer with the audience sat in the round. There are four lamps in the performance space, which the performer uses to tell the story accompanied by a cinematic score. The experience is simple, intimate and highly engaging.

A young girl watches the moon landings on repeat. A teenager makes a list of all the things they are not. A young adult starts to discover who they are. A story about the light and dark sides of all of us and the wild stuff inside.

WRIGHT&GRAINGER are internationally award winning storytellers and musicians based in rural North Yorkshire. They weave worlds from music and spoken word. Since 2016 their wild retellings of Ancient Greek myths have taken them around the world, touring across the UK, Australia, New Zealand,
Bali, India, Europe and transferring work to New York.
