It’s Classic Connee is a lavish, larger than life and lip-syncing outdoor performance celebrating Connee Boswell, probably the most popular singer you’ve never heard of.

This hybrid, part walkabout and part static show sees Connee arrive in flamboyant style singing her heart out and wandering around the crowds, ready to sign autographs to her adoring fans only to discover they have no idea who she is! As reality sets in and the audience gathers around, Connee uses her classic songs to tell the story of her life, her famous voice and the secret that she has been forced to keep all these years, the secret that has kept her from being the true star she is!

Performed by Daryl Beeton, this show combines music, comedy and audience interaction to tell a story of being forced to fit into the unforgiving world of fame and ends with Connee realising she can finally just be herself. She casts off the coat of secrecy that has kept her hidden for so many years before heading off into her reclaimed world of stardom… and of course finally signing a few autographs as she leaves!
