Director Fiona Laird (RSC, National Theatre, WNO, West End and Broadway) and actor Mark Lockyer (RSC, The Globe, National, Bristol Old Vic) have produced the most gripping new version of Hamlet. Preserving Shakespeare’s lines and phrases we love so well but bringing fresh eyes to it through the company’s deep understanding of the characters and their psychological drivers.

Mark Lockyer has been described as ‘the best classical actor that got away’. Mark’s theatre credits include major roles in The Alchemist, The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, King Lear, and The Taming of the Shrew all at the Royal Shakespeare company, Laertes in Hamlet at the Globe (dir. Mark Rylance), Malvolio in Twelfth Night at the Bristol Old Vic, and Good, Theatre of Blood, Bartholemew Fair, and Fuente Ovejuna at the National Theatre
