A Country’s Tale – Feasting, fighting and folk

All the greatest English myths and folktales in one unforgettable performance. Three actors take on over 100 parts – ranging from monsters to mythical kings, from heroines to river hags and from ghosts to ghastly dragons. 

The show is a theatrical feast filled with drama, puppets, comedy, original live music, songs and madness, celebrating what binds and unites us, and asks what connects us to these stories today.

With tales from the towns, rivers, seas, hills and moors, and every corner of the country.

Work by multi award winning Out of Chaos has toured the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. They are masters of reimagining old tales with shows such as Unmythable and Norsesome.
