We are thrilled to announce that the Applause team has relocated from our former offices to Southborough Civic Centre, just a short distance away on London Road. The Civic Centre offers a wealth of exciting features, it includes a new town square area for people to enjoy and a range of key community services plus Unity Hall, a large multi-functional hall/theatre space.
Director Dawn Badland says:
‘Our organisation has been growing and we are delighted about relocating to a brand new building with modern facilities and exceptional accessibility. Being based at a building with its own performance space will enable us to consider what we might do on our doorstep for and with the wider community. Our move also coincides with the start of our primary investor; Arts Council England’s 2023-2026 grant period, for which we were fortunate enough to increase investment agreement. All of these changes add to the sense of excitement as we enter a new chapter for Applause.’
