As we head towards spring, the artists commissioned by Applause for our Summer 2022 outdoor touring programme are working hard in rehearsals to develop and perfect their shows.
Feasible Ferret Theatre have sent us this fantastic video from an early performance of their walkabout show ‘The Dustbusters’ in Victoria Park, Leicester.
This showing was an opportunity to fine-tune the piece and see how people reacted to it. The feedback from one of the artists was that they had never performed in an act that achieved quite so much engagement with young people. The teenagers featured even offered skateboarding lessons at one point! Mildred, Mavis and Martha were definitely a hit with the youth of Leicester.
