Applause is thrilled to present a special Friday night comedy show this July, as part of the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival, featuring celebrity comedian, chef, and snack hacker sensation George Egg.
We’re delighted to be part of Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival, for the first time since launching Southborough Presents! The Fringe is a series of events featuring local artists, performers and groups, offering a host of events of all kinds across the arts, performing in a whole range of venues across Tunbridge Wells.
About the Show:
George Egg is the comedian who cooks, and his award-winning, multi-sell-out, international-touring performances are a delightful blend of cooking and comedy. Set Menu features the best bits from his previous acclaimed shows, plus a few new surprises. Over the past five years, George has toured with three shows (‘Anarchist Cook’, ‘DIY Chef’, and ‘Movable Feast’), cooking over a thousand dishes in front of live audiences, all without a traditional kitchen.
Expect to learn how to make gourmet food in the most unconventional of ways – whether it’s on a train with a laptop, in a shed with power tools, or in a hotel room using the appliances provided. George will prepare three plates of gourmet food in front of the audience, and there will be an opportunity to taste the results at the end. Get ready for the funniest recipes and the most delicious jokes.
