Applause Rural Touring is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation dedicated to bringing high-quality arts experiences to rural communities across Kent, Essex, East Sussex and West Sussex. Our programmes include professional touring for village halls, outdoor performances, and various community projects, making the arts accessible to everyone.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Officer to lead our marketing and communication efforts. This role includes managing our online presence, media relations and promotional activities.
Job Title: Communications Officer
Location: Southborough, West Kent
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £27,500 – £30,500
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies.
- Manage social media, website, and e-marketing efforts.
- Build relationships with local, regional, and national media.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of communication activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong copywriting and digital marketing skills.
- Passion for the arts and community engagement.
