08th November 2022
We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in gaining continued and enhanced support from Arts Council England as part of their new round of National Portfolio Organisations.
Applause Director Dawn Badland, says “this positive outcome will ensure that we are able to work with communities across Kent, Sussex and Essex at a time when the benefits of arts and culture can make a real difference to people’s lives. We are excited to continue working with artists and performers to realise their ambitions as we continue to support equitable access to cultural experiences.”.
A huge range of professional productions are offered for all types of space including village halls, schools, pubs and outdoor events.
The Applause summer programme supports performance artists and companies to make new work especially for village fetes, fairs and festivals giving neighbourhoods new, exciting and interactive arts experiences at their local celebrations.
