Did you take part in The Open Air Drawing Room at an outdoor event in Kent this summer? Were you one of the artists who contributed your painting of a stone to A Sea of Faces?
Eric MacLennan has combined hundreds of small watercolours created by members of the public into one epic painting which will be displayed Turner Contemporary from 6th October – 12 January. Images of the artists’ hands will also be displayed on the gallery terrace.
There is a special private view for all participants on Sunday 6th October from 1pm at Turner Contemporary, Margate. We can’t wait to see the final artwork displayed and look forward to seeing you all there! Look out for pics of the exhibition next week.
The Open Air Drawing Room was commissioned by Applause Rural Touring and Turner Contemporary to celebrate Turner Contemporary hosting the 2019 Turner Prize.
