Danson House Picnic, Summer in the Park
Come down to Danson House with your family for a fun family day out!
Grab your picnic blanket and enjoy an afternoon of music, performances, workshops and free activities. Running between May and August, Summer in the Park’s events are designed to celebrate community, arts, sport and local culture, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, The Royal Parks, Sports England, Peabody Trust, The Royal Borough of Greenwich and supported by Go! London, Garfield Weston Foundation and PRS.
Danson House Producers Market is on at the same time offering fresh bread, fruit and seasonal produce is the order of the day along with cheeses, local honey, kent juices, chutneys, craft ales and more plus small local businesses also showcase here too. Clothing, Jewellery, knitted items and more. Don’t forget to come hungry as we have the famous gourmet hot dogs, Bao Buns and Giant crepes joining us too!
Venues hosting the Summer in the Park picnics include Danson House, Maryon Park, Gallions Park, and Greenwich Park.
Hosted by Arts Trust, who aim to provide positive, accessible activities for young people, each event is free to attend.
