Canterbury District Community Spaces Arts Funding Available
Applause has received funding specifically to support individuals and groups in the Canterbury district who want to host performances in their local areas, including budget subsidies for community shows. This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with Canterbury City Council as the lead authority.
Shows range from traditional theatre and music shows to a host of outdoor events to enliven your community events. If you want your village hall/ community centre/ school/ library/ fete/ festival or any other community venue to claim one of these special slots then you can:
- Attend an online information event/ Q&A to find out more. The presentation will explain the process, followed by a Q&A session. Attendance is completely free, but please sign up to receive the Zoom link.
